Detailed below are the requirements and instructions to be on our ‘Long Distance’ Video Course Program. Once you are signed up, and as long as you are in good standing, you are a VDT Academy member with full privileges. This is the best way to study Serak® when you are too far away from any of our affiliated instructors, click here for a list.  We do need to talk to each applicant in person on the telephone, as we must approve each person before they are accepted as long distance members.  So the best way to inquire is to call the VDT Academy personally. VDT Academy phone: (562) 920-0472. (When you call, make sure your phone # will appear on our caller ID, as we may not answer calls from “blockedâ€? or “privateâ€? numbers. Also please note that we are in the Pacific Time Zone (California), please call at an appropriate time of day, thank you!)

Instructor’s 12-MONTH ANNUAL PROGRAM Video Course Requirements:

Each month, student will purchase the “VDT Academy Training Tapeâ€? Videotape, in VHS-NTSC Format (or PAL by request) from the Academy and the consultation tuition (see below).  Your personal practice Work Tape (VHS) must be returned in a reasonable time after the Instructional Tape has been received from the Academy. Your Work Tape is to be mailed to the above mailing address (PO Box) for your progress evaluation.  Each tape you send back is a test tape in return.

You Must Have A Video Camera.  Note: You must return all work tapes in VHS format (NTSC or PAL). DVD format is also acceptable as is a video file on a CD in Windows Media format.

YOUR FIRST MONTH’S INITIAL TUITION will be $115.00 plus postage (postage will be calculated at actual cost, via USPS Priority Mail),  and plus Web Broadcast additions IF any.

INCLUDED with your INITIAL month’s Tuition:  Your ANNUAL VDT membership ($35 USD) and one VDT Academy Tee Shirt ($20 USD)

PHOTOS:  You Must Include Two (2) color passport photos of yourself with this application form and return to VDT Academy immediately, and please print your name on the back of both photos.

EACH MONTH YOU WILL RECEIVE:  One Phase and/or VDT Training Tape ($45 USD); Consultation ($15 USD) for consultation and/or questions, and your return tape review.  (Consultation includes one (1) complimentary 30-minute Web Broadcast class per week.) You also will have Free access to the VDT Forum, and when necessary, your Serak® learning materials. Postage cost (USA $4.60 per month).  (Monthly cost estimate: $64.60 per month USA.  [Plus Web Broadcast additions, IF any.] ).

EXTRA Web Broadcast classes:  If you would like to view the Web Broadcast classes more often, the additional charge per month will be:   $10 for two lessons per week, or $20 for unlimited classes per week.

POSTAGE COSTS TO FOREIGN COUNTRIES is more and is different for each country; we will notify you per E-mail or letter of the correct charge.

Note: You may also pay in full for the entire semester year in advance, and you will receive a 10% discount on the 12 video training tapes only. Consultation, Web Broadcast and postage will not be discounted.

**ALL LONG DISTANT STUDENTS REQUIRE Hands On Lab Studies - NO exceptions.  You must visit the VDT Academy Pusat at least One (1) Time per Year,  for personalized Semi-Private classes with “Pak Vicâ€?.  You must attend at least Three Full days or more per arranged visit.    Your Travel, Lodging, & Meals are Not Included.     **Training Tuition is to be paid in advance before training begins, and is non-refundable.  In special cases, Pak Vic may allow you to replace one of your Pusat Visits if you attend a VDT Academy Member-Sponsored Seminar.  Please contact Pak Vic to see if a seminar in your area may qualify.

**PLEASE NOTE: A credit/debit card is required for enrollment in the Video Course program.  If you would prefer, an automatic monthly Electronic Funds Transfer from your checking account is available, please contact us to have that application sent to you.
